In 2003, some citizens of Black Rock City took part in an audacious live project on the playa.

They were given minidisc players and microphones, and, sent out to record their interactions with the rest of the city.

These recordings were edited and uploaded to this site for the whole world to eavesdrop on life at Burning Man.

PlayaSound will return to the Playa.
